My Story
I always thought I wanted to be a doctor, performing surgeries and learning the latest life-saving techniques and technologies. That was until I got to college and quickly realized I really didn't enjoy the premed track enough to make a lifetime career out of medicine. However, one thing I took away from my time shadowing doctors in hospitals was a deep appreciation and enjoyment of the problem-solving process — watching them probe, research, analyze, and come up with solutions for each patient.
As I wracked my brain about what I wanted to do in life I found myself drawn to highly dynamic fields involving continuous learning, creativity and problem-solving skills. So I applied to the business school and am happy to say I’ve found my “it” — i.e. the answer to the annoying question everyone asks you “What do you want to do?”
Here are 3 quick and hopefully interesting things about me:
1. I've gotten my jobs in unusual ways. If creating a viral TikTok video to win a social media internship doesn't prove my creative skills, I don't know what does.
2. I'm a digital junkie. I love everything trends and media marketing. In fact, I even rate my favorite brands, workout classes and advertising campaigns on my personal TikTok for fun.
3. Most of my best ideas come while I am out on a long run. In fact, I had the idea to DM Killer Queens, my favorite True Crime Podcast for a job while training for my first half marathon.
